Located on the outskirts of Brottes to the south of Chaumont, this vast forest is the most popular place for a Sunday stroll among the people of Chaumont. There are several footpaths, dotted with information panels desribing the flora and fauna. The forest also has its own historical importance (Celtic site, closeness to an old Knights Templar's house). It is a beautiful woodlwnd, ideal for a restful family outing. There are playgrounds for the kids (near the car parks in Fontaine Ste Libère and Le Muguet). Why not bring a picnic?
